As we navigate through this difficult time, we, at LBC, want our staff and families to know that we are following CDC protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety of all Learners and team members. We kindly ask that you familiarize yourself with our guidelines and we look forward to serving our families with a spirit of health and safety.

Upon entry to the center, a temperature check will be conducted for our Learners and staff. We are requesting and enforcing that all our staff and families sanitize their hands every 30 minutes using soap and water, hand sanitizer, or rubbing alcohol. We are taking extra precautions for our center-based services and placing hand sanitizer and rubbing alcohol all around the center. In addition, everyone inside the center will be wearing face masks, in accordance with CDC guidelines, while in close proximity to our Learners and other staff members.

LBC may choose to enact a center-based quarantine should the situation call for it. For families who attend center sessions during a quarantine period, sessions will be moved to the home setting, contingent upon confirmation of health records that both staff and family do not present with Covid symptoms.

We are asking that any individuals that are sick (staff, learners, and their families) to cancel sessions and stay at home. Please do not send your child or yourself to the center if you show any symptoms. Please do not come to the center to work if you show any symptoms. You can come back to the center after 4-5 days of isolation. If you recognize the signs of an infectious disease, use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves or a mask to minimize potential exposure.

I know this sounds excessive to some, but we are keeping the best interests of all our families and staff in mind. I truly hope that this pandemic clears rapidly for our families and team members, however we remain vigilant until CDC guidance has updated their recommendations. This is an example of how connected our world is and I urge you to stay connected and mindful of one another in this time of need.
